The Flagler County School District is one of the finest school systems
in the state. With the
growth of Palm Coast and Flagler County, the local school board
has kept pace with the growing student population of pre-kindergarten
through twelfth grade with its approach to teaching, student evaluation,
and use of technology in the classroom.
Five elementary schools (Belle Terre,
Old Kings, Wadsworth,
Bunnell and the newly opened
Rymfire), two middle school
(Indian Trails and Buddy
Taylor), and two high schools (Flagler
Palm Coast - home of the Bulldogs - and
Matanzas - home of the
Pirates) are directed by the school
superintendent and a five-member school board and managed by staff and
teachers, 50 percent of who hold MBA degrees.
Local schools available for Christian
education include Palm Coast Christian School, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Catholic School, St. Mark Christian Day School, and United Methodist
Christian School. |
